Simple speed adjustment via speed selection wheel with detent points accessible from both sides

A further benefit is that the spindle accepts M14 backing plates ranging from 50 mm to 180 mm in diameter, which allows a multitude of different-sized polishing pads to be used for maximum user convenience.
